Today I’m going to briefly talk about Inward Investment and Innovation. In the UK a number of government departments and businesses are focused on inward investment and innovation in the UK. At Benjamin Property Services we are focused on empowering executives and entrepreneurs around the world to invest in real estate in London and Kent to plug the gap on the housing and talent shortage in the UK.

At the moment London is under construction, that’s what I remember saying to a friend that visited from the USA. The large infrastructure projects like Crossrail 1 that brings the Elizabeth line to the transportation sector will end in December 2019. This means that investors should start to capitalise on the regeneration areas where there is scope to add value to the local communities and economy. In a recent podcast I’ve suggested that commercial to residential developments are the most cost effective option or the conversion of large houses and townhouses into micro-flats for resell.

London is open for business, as the Major of London has said and this means despite of Brexit there are opportunities for tier one investors and entrepreneurs to bring much needed talent to the capital and the UK.

This talent will need housing whether that be via a co-living, serviced apartments or other housing requirements. This is where we can help through strategising the opportunities as part of the real estate sourcing and negotiated purchase or purchases for the relocation process.
