Memorandum of Sale for Real Estate Purchase

Once you have negotiated to purchase the real estate directly from the property owner, you should complete a memorandum of sale for properties in England and Wales only. This document details the agreed purchase price, solicitor details for both parties and mortgage broker details if applicable. It does not form a legal contract but it shows what has been agreed to be paid and accepted by the legal owner.

You should use the Memorandum of Sale template if you are negotiating directly with the property owner and no real estate agent is being used.
